Fraze Gang have completed the recording and mixing of Fraze Gang 2,
to be released worldwide May/June. Mixed by the legendary Beau Hill
(Alice Cooper, Ratt, Warrant), Fraze Gang are back with the
addition of axe-slinger Derek McGowan and have stepped it up a notch
with 10 new kick ass songs that the band are very proud & anxious
for the world to hear. The art work is in its early stages but advancing
nicely with the cover being completed, and the inner workings still in progress.
The band are also in the works for the possibility of filming a new video
of the lead off track 'Saint Or Sinner' to coincide with the CD release."

Fraze Gang have been holed up in the studio in the last few months
writing songs for the upcoming new CD entitled “Fraze Gang 2”
The band had 29 songs to choose from & have narrowed it down
to the final 10 of which will appear on the upcoming CD.
Included on the CD will be the 4 singles Fraze Gang recently released
and 6 brand new songs of which 4 have already been recorded.
The band is hoping for a early 2012 release with a new video.
The CD is being mixed by the legendary “Beau Hill”
(Alice Cooper, Ratt, Warrant…)

Fraze Gang are also pleased to announce the addition of a new
full time member to the group, guitarist “Derek McGowan.”
Derek has been playing live shows with the guys helping fill out the sound &
the band are so impressed with his dedication, passion & sheer mind blowing
talent that the band offered the gig to Derek of which he gratefully accepted.
You will be able to hear Derek tear it up on the upcoming new CD.
Fraze Gang frontman 'Greg Fraser' was recently quoted on the addition of Derek:
“Derek is the real deal as far as up & coming guitar hero's go,
he can shred with the best of them and is a welcome addition the group.”

When asked about joining Fraze Gang Derek had this to say:
"I am a huge fan of Brighton Rock! I have been since I was 8 years old.
‘Take a Deep Breath' is still one of my favorite albums of all time. In fact,
the first riff I asked my guitar teacher to show me when I was 11 was ‘Power
Overload!' Their music is very much a part of my childhood and teen years."
In 2002 Brighton Rock was asked to reunite for the ZRock Festival in Manchester,
England. Guitarist Greg Fraser was unable to attend. Instead of declining the gig,
BR drummer Mark Cavarzan asked me to fill in for Greg and I literally went nuts!
By bringing me into the fold, it brought me the opportunity to play with Fraze
Gang years later. It was a dream come true. BR treated me so great and
the fans were unbelievable! I am very lucky to have had that opportunity to
play with them. I spent a month of rehearsals with BR at Stevie's house
and I kept pinching myself! The sessions for the new Fraze Gang album
have been awesome! Playing guitar alongside Greg has been not only
exciting but a great learning experience! The songs Rock!
I can't wait for the new release! Greg wrote riffs that are permanently
imbedded in my mind, music that spoke to me as a kid growing up.
It is an honor to play on his new music and write ideas together!
I'm a lucky guy!!

'Don't Call Us' were once again mixed by legendary producer

Beau Hill. The band is very excited with the results & would like

"As Beatlemania sweeps across the world again, we're reminded of an
earlier era when sheer talent and dogged determination paved the way to
success. In 1975, SUGARLOAF chronicled their struggle for a record deal
with the cheeky 'Don't Call Us' - rocketing to #9 on the US charts.
In the song, one of the label excuses is that it's all been done before by a
certain John, Paul, George and Ringo - and funny enough, the publishing
to the song was subsequently bought by Paul McCartney via his MPL
Communications (Sir Paul certainly knows something about a hit record).
'Don't Call Us' was originally a dig at CBS Records who had turned the band
down. Sugarloaf persisted and scored other hits, including the classic rock
staple, 'Green Eyed Lady' (#3, 1970).

Fraze Gang are no strangers to the charts themselves as singer/guitarist
Greg Fraser penned several AOR hits for Canadian hair metal stalwarts
Brighton Rock
('Can't Wait For The Night', 'Hangin' High & Dry', 'We Came To Rock' etc),

"WOODSTOCK"- Canadian Style! is cancelled!

Fraze Gang have completed 2 new recordings, "Rampage" and also a

1970's (mystery) cover hit redone Fraze Gang style! The acoustic ballad

"This is it" will be recorded within the next week and all 3 new songs will

be ready for mixdown. Talks are still in the works as to who will be mixing

these new tracks but the band hopes to have these singles released in

Aug/Sept. with also a possible new video for the song "This is it"

that is to be tentatively filmed in "Old" Montreal in August.

Rehearsals having been very productive for the 3 new songs the band

have been working on for summer release. The acoustic ballad "This is it"

is ready to be recorded. The 1970's (mystery) cover hit is ready to be

recorded. The full throttle rocker "Rampage" is in it's final stages &

should be ready to be recorded in the next couple of rehearsals.

Studios are being looked at for recording with an early May starting time

and June being the target Month for the 3 single release.

 Fraze Gang will also be part of this Historic 4day Rock&Roll Extravaganza

known as "WOODSTOCK - Canadian Style!"

This event is shaping up to becoming the CONCERT OF THE SUMMER!

Jan. 23 2009

Fraze Gang are starting up rehearsals next week with future plans of

recording 2-3 new songs which will be released as singles hopefully

in May/June. Potential songs are: "Rampage" a full throttle rocker

that is pumping with fist in the air energy. There will also be an acoustic

song (title tba) that the band are very excited about. 3rd up will be a

surprise cover song that was a minor 70's hit that the band has beefed

up & looking very forward to recording. "Bongo Beat Records"

"Ralph Alfonso" has announced that distribution for the UK will

now be handled by "Proper Distribution." Fraze Gang's previous

distributor in the UK "Pinnacle" has since closed it's doors.

There is also a sync deal in the works with a UK/USA based

company that will hopefully get some Movie and TV action.

"Bongo Beat" has also secured a promotional deal with YouTube.

The band hopes to be playing some live shows in early June.

The "Carl Dixon Benefit" was a huge success last week.

Carl played a great set and the packed house full of crazy rockers

had a kick ass night of music with "Russ Dwarf," "Brighton Rock,"

"Andy Curran" & "Helix."

Fraze Gang members Stevie Skreebs & Greg Fraser will be

re-uniting with former band Brighton Rock on Oct. 30 for

a charity concert to help out fellow Rocker "Carl Dixon"

(Coney Hatch) who was involved in a near fatal car crash. The medical

expenses are heavy and when fellow Coney Hatch member Andy Curran

asked if BR would re-unite (with all 5 original members) the guys all

immediately said they were in. This will be a great night for a great cause.

The guys are in vacation/writing mode at the moment, enjoying

some of this nice Canadian weather! The band will be back in

rehearsals early Sept. and will be gearing up for some upcoming

shows tba... and also getting into trying out some new tunes that

have been brewing in the kettle!

Ralph Alfonso (Bongo Beat Records) has stated that the Fraze Gang

cd is starting to make waves since it's release with some strong sales

starting to happen in Japan among other countries. He also notes

that the "Jackhammer" video is in it's final editing stage & should

be released soon. Bassist Stevie Skreebs has just completed a radio

interview with Codi Jeffreys of "Majic 100 FM" out of Ottawa

Ont. (Canada) which was recorded & will be posted soon. Chris

Nelson of the legendary radio show from England "Hair Metal

David Glenn Moore

1961 - 2008

Dave has been a friend of the guys for over 20 years going back to

the Brighton Rock days and has been a true fan & supporter of

Fraze Gang since day one. His favorite song from the Fraze Gang cd

was "Stargazer" of which he would play before every cancer

treatment to get him pumped up. The lines "take what's in front of

you & turn it around, cause everybody sings the blues, so stand

your ground" really struck a chord for Dave and gave him hope.

One of Dave's final requests was, instead of a traditional funeral he

wanted to have a Rockin bash with family, friends & Fraze Gang. The

band is truly honored & will be Kicking Ass Davie Moore style! This

party is open to everyone & the guys invite you to come celebrate the

life of a great father, friend & the biggest Montreal Canadians fan ever!

Bongo Beat Records update:
The Fraze Gang cd is now out in the US and Canada and hits UK stores on Monday, April 28. Already in the UK, it's one of our top sellers just on pre-release orders alone. Due to  the high price of CDs in England, UK fans should check out the UK online sites
as they have better deals than the retail stores (HMV is cheaper online, for example, than buying it in their stores).

Check out the Album Feature on Melodicrock.com and in the USA, the next issue of "Rocknation" will have a half page interview on the band plus a half page ad from the label with complete CD info so fans can take the ad to their favourite store and have it ordered in for them (stores need the bar code and distribution info).

We're starting to roll out the promo copies so you should see more
reviews and stuff happening over the next few months. If you're a journalist and need it now - just contact ralph@bongobeat.com It is a little crazy at Bongo Beat headquarters these days but we're  moving as fast as we can.
It will be out in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in June through 
New Music Distribution so fans in those countries can let their local metal merchants know the "Gang" is on the way!!

Of course, it is available on Amazon worldwide also for those
that need it now. It is also available on iTunes but it seems the digital thing is not  really of interest to the real rock hounds right now, so it's there if they want to preview  the tracks before they get a physical cd with the cool repackaging we did. in stores in Germany in June 2008, distributed by New Music.

Fraze Gang will be shooting a promotional video this Sunday

for the song "Jackhammer." The band plans on making a stark

black & white bare bones vid. with a lot of attitude!

In the latest press release for Bongo Beat Records, President

"Ralph Alfonso" has issued the following statement regarding

Fraze Gang:

Fraze Gang is released in the USA this month and Canada/UK in April. Greg Fraser is a one-man promo machine... the international metal community has really taken this cd to heart both in its original indie version and now the Bongo Beat release with the "Jackhammer" bonus track (mixed by Beau Hill of Warrant, Ratt and Europe fame, among many other things). Look for new videos and touring news shortly. People who know me know I was one of the main engines of 80s metal at the defunct Attic label (Anvil, Lee Aaron, Triumph, Thor, and Roadrunner Records, etc) and I'm a fan of good well-played/well-written hard rock. What I like about Greg's writing is he's got a way with a hook (he wrote all the Brighton Rock hits as their lead guitarist) and if you like straight up fun riff-filled 80s friendly party metal - this is it.

A live radio interview with Fraze Gang is now on line. The guys

recorded the phone interview back on Jan. 31/08 for Netrock 101.com

before hitting the stage at "Rock & Roll Heaven." Talking to radio

personality "Ruby Twosday" from Texas the guys had a lot of fun

and are looking forward to a follow up interview with Ande Rytch

from Netrock 101.com coming soon. Also coming up is an interview

with "Bravewords" own Carl Begai.

Also there is talk of possible Brighton Rock reunion dates for this

summer. Andy Curran (Coney Hatch) is seeing about putting

a concert package together with BR, Kim Mitchell, Andy Curran &

The Killer Dwarfs. Nothing is confirmed at this point but details will

be announced in the coming months.

A Brighton Rock clip has surfaced on Youtube. It was filmed back in

1989 at the legendary "Marquee" in London England.

The Rock & Roll Heaven show was a blast.

The band played tighter than ever & Derek has settled in and

played awesome. The band also did a live phone interview to Texas

with "NETROCK 101." The interview was recorded and will be posted

soon. There is also talk of FRAZE GANG being part of this years

"MQMusicFest" in Toronto. (details forthcoming) Stevie & Greg will

be taking part in the "Make A Kid Smile" charity hockey game this

Sat. Feb. 9 at the Niagara Falls arena at 7:00pm. The guys will be

on the 97.7 Htz FM hockey team playing against the NHL alumni

which includes veterans like Bob Probert, Gary Leeman, Mike Pelyk,

Bill Derlago and also some Toronto Argos. This is always a great night

& fun for everybody. See you there!

Fraze Gang makes their Toronto debut at

Rock N Roll Heaven January 31, 2008 !

Fraze Gang features rockers Greg Fraser and Stevie Skreebs,

both were at the helm of Brighton Rock, one of the premier

Canadian hair metal bands of the 80s. Taking their heavy guitar

influences and fusing it with melodies, Fraze Gang brings the

sound that captured the hearts of air-guitarists and 70s Kiss fans

 into modern times. Full of hooks and riff ready guitars,

Fraze Gang's debut will be released by Bongo Beat April 8th.

Copies of the CD will available for sale in advance at Rock n Roll Heaven.

Bongo Beat label head Ralph Alfonso was part of Brighton Rock's

management in the 80s. "It's totally great to reconnect with the guys

and bring some fun rock 'n roll onto the label.

Greg Fraser is one of the great melodic rock writers."

The new cd is finally here! The cover came out great & "Jackhammer"

sounds awesome as the new lead off track. As previously noted this is

the debut cd of FRAZE GANG which has been repackaged with new

artwork & an extra song added. "Bongo Beat Records" President

Ralph Alfonso has slated April 8/08 as the release date for Canada

& April/May - USA, & May/June for the UK.

In other news, the big benefit concert for the "C.A.C.N." was a huge

success. The "Mooses & Goose" was packed out and everybody had

a blast! Rockin out with FRAZE GANG were local favorites

"DICK TRACY," "BOOM," "MOCK THE JESTER,"

"MARCO SOLO," & "HIP.NOT.IC."

New 2nd guitarist Derek McGowan's debut gig was also a

highlight as he was Rockin up a Storm!

The band is pumped & ready to tear it up this Thur. Jan. 31

Fraze Gang

hopes everybody had a Rockin Christmas

and may 2008 be a Kick Ass year!

Starting the year off on a good note, the artwork for the cd is finally

finished & the band is very excited with the results. President of

Bongo Beat Records "Ralph Alfonso" is launching a new division

at the company called "Hard Rock Series" with Fraze Gang being

the first to join the roster. Ralph notes that the cd should be pressed

before the end of the week & ready for shipping within 2 - 3 weeks.

Fraze Gang has been invited to Rock out a set at a big charity event

on Sat. Jan. 26 2008 at the "Moose & Goose" (formerly "Front 54")

in Thorold Ont. This is a benefit concert for the

"Child Advocacy Centre Niagara."

Fraze Gang are expected to hit the stage around 10:00pm
